The great apartment search has ended! It went very much like the Spokane apartment search of 2011.
Though, on the second day, things were a lot less creepy. It's not everything we wanted, but need the for hardwood floors was beaten out by the need to stop hunting for a place to live.
Because it may take up to 48 hours for our background checks (not including the weekend), we may be waiting until Tuesday to move in. This means we have the weekend to breathe a bit. And explore Minneapolis. It's a great city!
A great place for bikers. Look at this bike highway that runs through town!
They even have these rental bikes all over town. You pay the machine and return the bike at any other rental spot in the city.
It didn't take us very long to find the cheese curds! These were our "we found an apartment" celebratory cheese curds.
There are so many restaurants! Here we are enjoying one of them.
Their happy hour had $2.50 tacos, and there were churros! It's a good thing we won't be living downtown because we'd never stop eating out.
