Last weekend we ate at Frank's Diner, which is in an old train car.
They have good shakes! And hash browns! And--get ready--blueberry muffin french toast!
And they have a creepy conductor mannequin.
We chose not to sit at his booth.
I love all their old windows and light fixtures and wood trim. Did I mention the blueberry muffin french toast?
Look at the velvet curtains and seats. Talk about luxury.
One of our favorite parts is a phrase they have on their menus: "Frank's has limited seating!" Isn't that what you look for in a restaurant?
We also got some snow, but most of it's gone now, including the snow-woman down the street.
One day, I spent about ten minutes trying to decide whether the white blob under the bush in our backyard was snow or a cat.
Snow or cat? Is that a tail or a shadow?
Cat!
That's about it here. Just cats, and school work, and food.
And, to reward myself for grading, I made another desktop calendar. Cedric wanted to know why he wasn't in it.
