I need to get out of the coffee shop for the day, but I thought I'd post some pictures of my drive to work. Joe went with me to campus last Thursday so he could bike through Coeur d'Alene while I was in class. Here's what my Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays look like:
Getting on I-90, the very road that brought us here. |
The drive wouldn't be much without the mountains |
Frankie Doodles? This sounds like one of those restaurants you just have to go to so you can say you have, like Marquette's Beef-A-Roo. |
Construction, construction, construction! |
More hills! |
There are quite a few of these red and white water towers. |
Once you cross into Idaho, the scenery gets better and better. |
Interesting. |
Campus ends at Lake Coeur d'Alene |
It's good to still see a lake every couple of days, even if I can see the other side of it. :) |
Some fuzzy plants I've never seen before. |
We saw this as we were driving around downtown |
Where one can find the English department |
The view outside the giant windows in one of my classrooms! |
On the way home. |
Home for the evening. |
Well if by some miracle Tim and I are able to visit, we would be happy to accompany you to Franky doodles, just like beef a roo
